Chardham Yatra 2026

India is home to a vast number of holy and sacred places. Of which the Uttarakhand Char Dhams are the most well-known. Yamnotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath are the four Garhwal region temples that are part of the Chardham Yatra. The districts of Yamnotri and Gangotri are included in Uttarkashi. They are devoted to the rivers Ganga and Yamuna, respectively. The Rudraprayag district’s Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The final stop on the Chardham Yatra, Badrinath, is located in the Lord Vishnu-centered Chamoli area. The temples are open for business for around half of the year.
